FAQs
Does Aquarello deliver worldwide?
Yes - Products are delivered worldwide. For deliveries outside of Europe, please contact us directly. All devices are tested and configured in Switzerland before shipping. The devices are exclusively manufactured for Aquarello by leading producers according to our specifications.
Are pesticides effectively filtered out of the water?
Our filters have been tested by the Cantonal Chemist of Fribourg in Switzerland. Although pesticide levels in tap water exceeded the regulatory limits, they were barely measurable after filtration.
With our ultrafiltration/activated carbon combination, unwanted odors and harmful substances, pesticides, or impurities are removed from tap water. The lime filter reduces the chlorine content.
The UV filtration at the water outlet acts as an additional shield to eliminate any bacteria and viruses, while also simplifying device maintenance. You will immediately notice the improved taste.
Filter replacement / Device maintenance?
Filters should be replaced every 6 months. Depending on lime content and water usage (private/office/hospitality), periodic service is required to ensure the device continues to provide excellent water quality in the long term.
Where can replacement parts, filters, and maintenance kits be ordered?
Maintenance kits, CO₂ cylinders, and spare parts can be ordered through our website or via phone/email. Aquarello guarantees 10 years of service and spare parts for its devices. All devices can be repaired and maintained in our workshop.
How much electricity does a water dispenser consume in a year?
In standby mode, the consumption is only 6-9 watts. The annual cost of having permanently hot water is approximately 20 euros.
Is an Aquarello water dispenser cost-effective and sustainable?
The cost per liter of our water dispensers is significantly lower and also saves storage space and reduces waste. There’s no need to carry heavy water bottles or dispose of them. By eliminating PET bottles, CO₂ emissions are drastically reduced, and microplastics are avoided.
What type of warranty is offered?
The warranty covers all manufacturing and material defects on any component of the device for 2 years from the installation date. This warranty ensures that your device will be restored free of charge to its condition before the defect occurred.
In some cases, the warranty cannot be claimed. This happens if the device was not installed according to our installation instructions. Damages caused by improper use and/or insufficient maintenance are not covered by the warranty. Insufficient maintenance includes extreme calcification or heavy contamination due to external factors. The warranty also becomes void if an Aquarello system is improperly disassembled or repaired.
What is the difference between SODA1 and SODA1i?
In the SODA1i water dispenser, the gas cylinder is directly integrated into the device.
What is the difference between FLOW3 and FLOW5?
The FLOW3 model is installed as an addition to an existing faucet and operates completely independently. The FLOW5 model replaces the existing faucet. On the right side, you still have unfiltered tap water, while on the left side, the device dispenses filtered water that is hot, chilled, or sparkling.
